As professional clubs seek to gain an edge over their opponents, the worldwide hunt for new talent is always on.
Prospect insights beyond the stats
This project started when a Sports Board member of a Belgian professional football club reached out to me. He had his eyes on two promising talents who are playing in the Costa Rican first division and wanted a better view of their personality characteristics. Therefore, I activated my network to gather inside information on these two youngsters.
Player data and videos might be widely available, but inside information on personal character, dressing room behaviour, and technical and tactical progress are extremely valuable parameters that are much more difficult to get a hold on. This club now knows that henceforth, it can count on me for reliable information on their Costa Rican prospects.
